Bucket List

There are many things that I would love to do in my life that I have yet to accomplish. My bucket list consists of traveling to foreign countries at some point. However, I am very scared of planes so it is kind of a problem! I also want to get a really good job that I love and truly enjoy. I want to be successful with something I actually like doing. I want to go scuba diving in the great barrier reef as well. I also would love to go to New York City and LA. I have been to a lot of states, but never to either of these cities.

I would also love to get married and have kids. I have grown up with a large extended family so I feel like that would be such a wonderful thing to start myself. Family means a lot to me and I know it always will. I also love meeting new people. I hope that in my future I make a lot of wonderful friends to add to what I already have! I have never created a bucket list so this was kind of hard to think of things on the spot! I do know that I am a spontaneous person so I feel like in my future I will do a lot of fun and random things!

  1. I thought your blog entry was very interesting. One of the things that really stuck out to me on your blog post was that you want to have a good job one day that you enjoy in the Public Relations field. That is something that I mentioned in my blog post as well and I think that is very important. I thought it was interesting that you have never been to New York City or LA because I have not been to either one of those places either. I would love to go to New York City and shop! The last thing I thought was interesting that you wrote was that you would like to go snorkeling in the great barrier reef. That is something that I would also enjoy doing. I think that would be an opportunity of a lifetime and I hope we both get the chance to do it one day.

  2. I want to do a lot of the same things that you want to do as well! You’ll definitely need to get over your fear of planes if you want to travel though, but I’m sure you can. I was scared the first time I ever flew, but now I really enjoy it. Try taking a Dramamine pill when you first get on the plane, and you’ll probably pass out for most of the flight. That’s what I do at least. Scuba diving would be great too! I have my certification and have done it in the ocean once, but for some reason I’m scared to even snorkel now! I hope you get to do all those things though, because if you do then I think you will live a very exciting and adventurous life!

  3. I thought I would be scared of flying when I first began traveling by air, but after the plane got off the ground the first time I was fine. If flying just really isn’t your thing, then you can always go by boat and take a cruise to most any destination and rent a car the rest of the way. Many of the items you listed on your list are closely related to mine. I too want the family, and to travel some, and I want to get my scuba license.

  5. I think your bucket list has a lot of the same meaning to it as mine does! You seem like you like to do anything that is fun, and you do many things for the accomplishment of actually doing them. I think traveling is one of the top things on my list to do before settling down and having a family or getting married. I liked that you added how important your family is to you at the end of your list, and I agree with that as well. It is the number one thing in my life, and I hope to one day have a family of my own!
